Introduction to M2M Cost Saving Solution
M2M Cost Saving Solution is an all-in-one package that
consists of a M2M software, a M2M Kit, and all the necessary
hardware (other than monitor, keyboard and mouse) to enable
a normal PC to host multiple users.
In M2M Cost Saving Solution, every user work independently
yet simultaneously. Every user has a monitor, keyboard,
mouse, audio and local USB peripherals, where the user works
just like owning a private PC. However, cost can be saved by
reducing the purchase of CPU's because only one CPU is
needed. In addition, there will be a reduction in the cost
spent on the software (number of license), network cabling
and etc.
In M2M Cost Saving Solution, a normal PC can host up to 5
users whereas an industrial PC (a larger and more powerful
PC) can host up to 12 users.
Normal Computerized
Environment
High investment required to set up a
computerized environment, which requires:
- High hardware cost. Many PCs are needed, i.e. 10 PCsfor 10
users.
- High software cost. All the PCs need software,
installation & configuration.
- High networking cost. Network cabling and network
switches.
- High maintenance cost. More PCs means more trouble and
more frequent downtime.
- High operating cost. More PCs means higher
air-conditioning & electricity bill.
- High upgrading cost. For every 3 years, all the PCs are
out-dated and fully depreciated. This would require

resources/computer room is very low. In addition, typical
